The deliverable presents tools and methods for addressing social and governance challenges in MPA management and design, with a particular focus on stakeholder collaboration, communication, awareness, justice and equity. Drawing on their application in BLUE4ALL Living Labs and an Information Site, it summarizes key challenges, tool implementation and lessons learned while identifying factors critical to socially sustainable and well-governed MPAs.
