Our Oceans Conference

European Ocean Days

The second edition of the European Ocean Days will take place in Brussels from 3 to 7 March 2025.

As the previous edition, it will be a week of events related to European marine and maritime topics. 

It will cover, on separate days over the week, the EU Mission Ocean and Waters, fisheries science, blue innovation and investment opportunities, ocean literacy activities, and many other topics.

Climate-Ready Marine Protected Areas: Building Resilience and Supporting Marine Adaptation

This event united experts and stakeholders across Europe to address climate adaptation in marine conservation. It focused on creating “climate-smart MPAs” and their role in adapting coastal environments. Presentations from key projects and discussions on research gaps provided actionable insights for policymakers. The workshop, held in English, offered valuable collaboration opportunities.
