The 6th ESP Europe Conference will bring together Europe’s ecosystem services community to advance solutions for a nature- and people-positive future. Taking place 18–22 May 2026 in Prague, Czechia, Blue4All will actively contribute through co-hosted sessions and by showcasing results from socio-economic and ecological tool testing.
PHAROS Ireland Mega Event
The PHAROS Ireland Mega Event will bring together stakeholders across science, policy, and practice to co-create solutions for marine restoration and sustainable blue economy development. Taking place 26–28 May 2026 in Kerry and West Cork, Ireland, Blue4All will play a key role in advancing MPA collaboration, tools, and knowledge exchange.
Our Oceans Conference
The Our Ocean Conference 2026 will convene global leaders to drive concrete commitments and accelerate action for ocean protection worldwide. Taking place 16–18 June 2026 in Mombasa and Kilifi Counties, Kenya, it marks the first time the conference is hosted on the African continent.
CommOCEAN
CommOCEAN 2026 will bring together scientists, communicators, and policymakers to strengthen how marine science is shared, understood, and acted upon. Taking place 2–3 September 2026 in Bergen, Norway, the conference highlights the critical role of communication in driving ocean literacy and meaningful change.
ICES Annual Science Conference 2026
The ICES Annual Science Conference 2026 will bring together the global marine science community to share cutting-edge research and shape the future of ocean knowledge and management. Taking place 15–18 September 2026 in Brest, France, it is one of the leading scientific events in marine research.
World Conference for Marine Biodiversity 2026
The World Conference on Marine Biodiversity 2026 will bring together the global marine biodiversity community to assess progress, share knowledge, and shape the future of ocean conservation. Taking place 17–20 November 2026 in Bruges, Belgium, the conference marks a key moment to align science, policy, and action midway through the UN Ocean Decade.
Past events
European Ocean Days
The second edition of the European Ocean Days will take place in Brussels from 3 to 7 March 2025.
As the previous edition, it will be a week of events related to European marine and maritime topics.
It will cover, on separate days over the week, the EU Mission Ocean and Waters, fisheries science, blue innovation and investment opportunities, ocean literacy activities, and many other topics.

Climate-Ready Marine Protected Areas: Building Resilience and Supporting Marine Adaptation
This event united experts and stakeholders across Europe to address climate adaptation in marine conservation. It focused on creating “climate-smart MPAs” and their role in adapting coastal environments. Presentations from key projects and discussions on research gaps provided actionable insights for policymakers. The workshop, held in English, offered valuable collaboration opportunities.
